Maria Romero

Maria Romero is a PhD student in the Learning Sciences and Technology Design and Developmental and Psychological Science programs. Her research interests include STEM+C education and community-based asset-oriented learning design. Before coming to Stanford, she was a project manager for the Learning Experience Design team at Digital Promise. In this role, she contributed to multiple initiatives, including maker learning and computational thinking, through professional learning, research, and evaluation. Maria received her B.S. at Simmons University where she double majored in environmental science and computer science, with a minor in biostatistics.
